背景介绍

先听一段：这座馆的来历

青年V&A

欢迎来到青年V&A，在东伦敦的贝思纳尔格林。

这座博物馆最早叫贝思纳尔格林博物馆，1872年开放，是东伦敦第一座博物馆。从一开始它就服务当地社区，晚上也开放，方便劳动者来看。

有意思的是，这座楼本身原来是南肯辛顿V&A建筑群的一部分，1860年代因为南肯辛顿的邻居嫌它难看，被搬到了这里。地上那片马赛克地面，是1850年代由沃金监狱的女犯人亲手铺的。

它后来成了V&A童年博物馆。2018年起，它开始彻底改造，变成一座为孩子而建的博物馆，2021年8月正式动工。改造中，脚手架拆下后露出了标志性的筒形拱顶，被封住的天窗重新打开，还新装了一座由当地小学生参与设计、灵感来自V&A光学玩具收藏的螺旋楼梯。

现在馆里有三个常设展厅：想象、游戏、设计，展出约2000件来自V&A收藏的展品。
